I stayed in this hotel for a conference. It is a great hotel, clean with spacious room. The swimming pool is big. It is on International Drive, close to everything.

Had an awesome stay at this hotel during my visit to Orlando for my birthday, they have friendly service, the rooms are spacious, nice comfortable bed, clean hallways, nice very well equipped gym, very well located at the airport, it’s good travelers choice when staying in the Orlando area.
I truly recommend this Hyatt experience.

Disclaimer: I usually tend to stay away from commercial places when traveling. I don’t like to stand out as a tourist for a few reasons. Mostly I prefer doing things that not many people have done, but also because I work in an airport and am very familiar with all types of travelers, and, I’m sure that nearly everyone who works in the airline or hospitality industry will agree with me, infrequent tourist types are my least favorite group amongst them. My paranoid side also feels that behaving like a tourist makes you a target for muggings. On top of that, I know there are some people who will say they hate Disney. I know exactly why they say this. I dislike the type of people who go to Disney. I am annoyed by the people who take their babies there, as though they will even remember it in ten minutes, much less ten years. If there was an award for most annoying traveler type, my vote would be for the people who take one vacation every five years, and of course it’s to Disney, and they have those stupid Disney bag tags on their luggage that they freak out if you touch, and also they don’t know how to check in on a kiosk. Orlando is my least favorite flight to work, because of all the needy Disney people who cannot do anything for themselves. It’s because of them that anyone could hate Disney, or Disney World.
I happen to be very skilled at focusing on my surroundings and eliminating other people’s energy. And Disney itself, if you are able to ignore the kind of people who go to Disney, truly is a magical place. I was so overwhelmed with emotion and pure love of this place that I think they could possibly be brainwashing people or sending subliminal messages. I never thought it was possible to get goosebumps when it was 90, until I took my first steps into the Magic Kingdom onto Main Street USA. It was not technically my first time there, I went a couple days after I turned four, but I have only two very vague memories of the Haunted Mansion and of the race cars in Magic Kingdom. I was in love the second I arrived, and the more I saw the more I loved it. It alternated between being hot and pouring rain, rides had to be closed because it was lightening, and I didn’t even care. If you had told me a year ago that ultimately the blog I wrote about Disney World would include a sentence about how many times I got teary eyed while I was there, I would have thought you were completely insane. But I got teary eyed alright, so many times I lost track. It was a combination of being there, being there with Trinity, and having what would probably be our last adventure of what was the most amazing summer ever.
We made our way through the park, going on every ride we could, getting Fast Passes to go on them again, seeing every show, and arguing about how I was NOT going on Splash Mountain. Our favorites were Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan’s Flight, Disney’s Phiharmagic.

Our second winter in a row going to Orlando. In between Christmas and spring break you can usually find really good deals to the parks in Orlando as well as for hotel rooms. Last year we went to Disney and Universal studios. We all agreed that we like Universal better so this year we stuck to Universal, I was able to get 7 day passes to both parks for $98.

Aaaalrighty well I’ve gotten pretty caught up in everything thats been happening down here at Disneyworld I forgot to update this bad boy..So maybe I’ll just do 5 months in a nutshell.
-I worked on podium for maybe 2 and a half months before speiling the menu to the managers, became a food runner for 3 weeks and am now a server at Le Cellier Steakhouse in Epcot, the number one restaurant in all of Orlando, not just Disneyworld. Pretty ballin
-One random Wednesday in November I decided to book a cruise to the Bahamas, left on Friday. Came back on Sunday, pretty random but was so much fun.
-I went to a Tampa Bay lightning game which my friends dad was an official for and got to go under the rink behind the scenes and meet Don Koharski.
-Got thrown down the title of Beer Bong Princess at our Canadian Girls drinking team..did that for a while and about 3 or 4 weeks ago I was given president..yup thats right..PRESIDENT of the drinkin team right here!
Basically I’ve done so many random things I can’t think of nearly any of them here but I’m having the absolute best time of my life working and living at Disneyworld. Ive met so many amazing people I never wanna leave, but I have only 7 months left and I can’t believe it!!!

Perfect if you’re staying in Orlando and want to be near all the nightlife spots. Rooms and lobby are clean and nice, as well as the bathroom. Bed was comfy. Just be careful where you go walking around downtown Orlando, some areas are pretty dodgy. However there are a variety of cabs easy to hail downtown that can take you to the hotel for minimum charge if you don’t feel like walking, and the hotel concierge always called a cab that was waiting for us by the time we got downstairs. Great location, we always used this hotel for New Years Eve when we were going to party downtown!

Ok, so the first day was a great one! The second we decide to make it a resting day with lots of sunbathing and swimming! It was a pretty busy year for us last year so it was really time to take a rest!
That evening we went to Downtown Disney which was about half an hour driving from our house. We took the 192 and that road is an attraction on itselfs with all those restaurants, entertainment and dinnershows, large souvenir outlet stores etc.
I wanted to have dinner in the restaurant of one of my favourite singers Gloria Estefan!! The cuban cuisine in “BONGOS”. It’s located at Downtown Disney. First we took some cocktails on the bar and than we got a nice table on the side where we could overlook the whole restaurant. Well, it is a real recommendation to eat there! So many great flavours, JUMMY!!!
When we got out of the restaurant, we walked along the stores, till it began to rain. We went into a shop and waited till it stopped. Yeah, we wish!! It didn’t stopped at all, it began to rain so much more!! It became a storm with lightning and all. The streets were flooded and after half an hour, there we’re some people that took their shoes off and ran into the streets barefoot to go to their cars.
Wim and I laughed at first, but after a while, the storm was just the same, so we looked at each other and took our shoes off and began to run to our car. WE WE’RE SOAKED!!!! hahaha we laughed and I began to sing: I’m singing in the rain, I’m singing in the rain, what a glorious feeling, I’m happy again …..
We had a wonderfull time!!!! And after a warm bath, we fell peacefully asleep!

My Fiance wanted to get married at the Grand Bohemian. Let me start by saying I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED. We held your hotel to high expectations, but were disappointed time and time again throughout our stay. This was for my Fiances birthday. We wanted to check the place out before we decided on a wedding date. I made reservations on the phone. I specifically asked the representative to reserve a top floor Jacuzzi Suit with a nice view. I also specifically asked her if the rooms had DVD players. The representative assured me that all the Suits were on the top floor and EVERY room had a DVD player? So when we checked into the hotel, we were escorted to our room on the 12th floor. The room was Dirty! The bed was not made; with the sheets, comforter, and dirty towels on the floor! Wow! So this is how our stay at your glorious hotel begins? I then looked for the DVD player which was promised to me. No DVD player to be found. The bell-boy said he would take care of it. So the bell-boy then advises us that the only room that is clean, is on the 7th floor. So we are escorted down to the 7th floor, and settle into a different Suit with a substandard view that I was looking for. Ten minutes later, a knock on our door. A man walks in with this Huge T.V. stand with drapes on it? It has a DVD player wired onto it? Where am I supposed to put this, I asked the man. He replied, I dont know? But its here now. Then he turned around and walked out the door! This is ridiculous! Now we have this bulky outdated T.V. stand taking up half of our room. So we called down to the front desk to have them take the DVD player, slash T.V. stand away. Very high class, might I add. You see because my Fiance wanted to sleep in and watch movies the next morning. I then called down to the front desk to get a late check out, and they advised me that It would be no problem; I just had to call back at 6:30 a.m. to request a late check out. So we went out Downtown, and came back to the Hotel at 2:30 a.m. We called down to the front desk to have some extra towels brought up to the room. The towels never came! Our stay gets even more high class by the minute! So I set my alarm for 6:30 a.m., then call down to the front desk to get a late check out. The representative advised me that there were going to be no late check outs. But wait, heres the kicker! The ice machine on our floor was out of service. Right? Again, my expectations of the Grand Bohemian our spit back in my face. I would also like to add, that the ice machine on our floor was out of service.
I would like to thank you for showing me the Grand Bohemians true colors. I am grateful to have spent my money on a 5-star Hotel, and to receive 1-star service. I will never stay at your hotel again! I will also, Not be planning my Wedding at a truly despicable, appalling, and disgraceful establishment. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Today we are going to Seaworld. it’s supposed to be really fun there. When we got there we first walked to some where. As we walked we passed Atlantis bayside stadium. There were people skiing while boats were doing tricks. Then we walked to a place called Wild Arctic where you see polar bears and that. The funny thing was that the kids didn’t know what snow was, so they were freaking out over it. Then we went to Shamu’s Happy Harbour. Me, Kayla and Kourtney went into it and nearly got lost because it was a huge playground. After we had lunch.
After lunch we went on a ride called Journey to Atlantis. It was the wetest ride ever. No one came out dry. After we went to terrors of the deep. We saw sharks and sting rays. We also went in a tunnel under water and saw them. Then we watched a show with sea lions and otters pretending to be pirates. It was so funny it had the crowd screaming. Then we watched Shamu the killer whale do tricks. I would say he’s the best entertainer in the park.

Today we are on our way to disney. We took a boat to the disney land
area. We went on a lot of rides. I went on splash mountain, winnie the
pooh, buzz lightyear, space mountain, thunder mountain, a haunted
house, go carts speed way, and we also went for lunch in tommorrow land
where everything is technology. There was also a guy singing (he was a
dinosaur creature). My favorite ride was the haunted house. One part
there was actually a ghost sitting with us. We also went shopping. I
bought Bethany a present. I bought her pluto holding a picture frame so
she can put her picture in there. Right now we’re watching a parade.
My
favorite ride of the day was the haunted house. My second favorite was
Buzz Light-year. It was a cool ride. We also visited Mickey’s and
Minnie’s house. We also went on some rides at night.
